  • Abstract
Photonic networks will play a key role in the development of future B-ISDN. The paper highlights the importance of establishing optical paths with stable and tunable lightwave carriers. Possible lightwave frequency supply modules for future photonic networks are studied, and the pulsed lightwave frequency supply method proposed is shown to be suitable for path allocation based on wavelength
