Abstract
In recent years, with more individualization needs and time-based market competition, many enterprises, including some Chinese top firms have realized that only by enhancing all employees quality and cultivating their innovation talent can contribute to the high performance of enterprise\´s innovation. Based on case study from a Chinese top enterprise, Shanghai Baosteel Group Corporation (SBGC) which driven itself sustainable and fast developments in resent years by challenging and involving all employees in the innovation process. The study defines "innovation by everyone (IbE)" as innovation is no longer the function for R&D personnel alone, but all employees\´ common behaviors. Personnel from R&D, to marketing, manufacturing, and management, etc., are all outstanding innovative sources and all their innovations can contribute to the development of the enterprise. IbE\´s five innovation-conducted transformations taken place in SBGC, and its running environments mainly including strategy, culture, institution and organization are studied in this paper to accomplish IbE into practice. At the end of the paper, some main points of this paper and future researches on IbE are put forward in this paper.
