Abstract :
Virtual instrument technology is a connection of hardware and software. It is the use of high-performance modular hardware, combined with efficient and flexible software to complete a variety of test and measurement applications. This paper describes an emulator of electrical and mechanical system based on LabVIEW. The emulator can simulate real button to give analog and digital stimulus output, storage and playback the data waveform, display the acquired discrete data on the front panel to facilitate the observation of each button´s historical status. It can also stimulate the communication between different systems via RS422 bus. This emulator is used to test and validate the function of the electrical and mechanical systems.
