Abstract :
This paper generalizes the conventional Proportional Adaptive Observer (PAO) to the case of Proportional Integral Adaptive Observer (PIAO). A systematic design procedure is provided for estimating the states and parameters of a dynamic system using PIAO. The proof of convergence is given and simulation results demonstrate the validity of theoretical development.
