Abstract
The variety of mobile devices in terms of hardware and communication performance imposes problems for the delivering of media content services. The difficulty resides in how to adapt the media streams contained on servers to the big variety of screens, CPU capacities, bandwidth connections, operating systems, batteries lives, etc. This process involves a number of tasks where the signalization procedures are not completely defined. In this paper, we propose both a mechanism for service negotiation during session mobility events and the means to achieve, at the application level, the QoS adaptation required by the client. Our proposition is based on the using of SDPng and MPEG-21.
