  • Abstract
    This work proposes an effective time delay estimation procedure for performance improvements of positioning techniques in LTE cellular systems. We exploit a fast parabolic interpolation running on three estimated samples in the neighborhood of the coarse estimate. A performance analysis is then carried out in comparison with conventional approaches based on (time-consuming) narrow-band over-sampling of the cross-correlation (or ambiguity) function around its maximum.
