Abstract :
The dielectric relaxation time has been experimentally determined for solasodine in the pressure range from 5 to 8 tons by the use of dielectric dispersion curves. The relaxation time varies in the range of 5.90 ns to 13.26 ns for this important steroid alkaloid. These results are in agreement with the theoretically computed values. The study was carried out in the high frequency range of 10 to 30 MHz
