Abstract :
In modeling wireless channels, slow and fast fades are generally decoupled. We show that the difference between true capacity and that obtained assuming independence of fast and slow channel fades is O(εlog(ε)log(-εlog(ε))), where ε is the ratio between the average duration of fast and slow fades
