Abstract :
Though online travel services industry has been going through rapid growth, the business models were ambiguous and immature. Even the leader CTrip.com learns by trial and error. Therefore, study on business models transformation of companies in this industry is significant, especially on those medium-and-small ones because they are in the majority. In this work, we evaluate the business model of a new online travel services provider which has been evolved from a large ticket agent. The evaluation is based on in-depth investigation of the company, and a classical theory of business models is applied.
