Abstract :
The space charge distribution of PLZT 8/65/35 was measured by the LIMM (laser intensity modulation method). It is concluded that space charge movement in PLZT 8/65/35 is very difficult at temperatures below 50°C and is easy above 50°C. A detailed discussion of the effect of space charge on the micro-macro domain transition is given. The large difference of dielectric anomalous temperature Td measured on heating and cooling is mainly due to the effect of space charge; the abrupt disappearance of dielectric dispersion at T d under DC bias is also due to the space charge effect
