Abstract
BaTiO3 was prepared using the sol gel process. Dried gel was crushed and fired at different temperature from 400°C to 800°C. Composites were prepared in 0-3 connectivity using BaTiO3 fired at different temperatures and PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride). Hysteresis, dielectric-constant, and pyroelectric-current measurements were carried out on these samples. Comparison of these results with those of the solid-solution-dried BaTiO 3 revealed significant improvement in their properties
