Abstract
This paper provides an overview of the activities of a voluntary industry committee that is working in collaboration with ERCOT to specify the scope and requirements for modeling criteria, to develop a series of wind generator models. The primary purpose of such models is to accurately simulate the mathematical performance of wind farms for power system penetration studies.
