Abstract
This paper deals with the possibility of using three-phase transformer for single-phase power source and single-phase load. The first part of this work is focused on possible ways of utilizing three-phase transformer on single-phase power source and different ways how to load the transformer. Theoretical assumptions were verified by measurements. The next part deals with the description of measurements that were performed to determine the appropriate method of power supply and load. The last part of the thesis discusses the results of measurements. In the conclusion are proposed the most effective ways of utilizing three-phase transformer on single-phase power source and method of loading such a device in terms of reaching maximum performance out of the transformer.
