  • Abstract
Thermally stimulated currents (TSCs) in short- and open-circuit configuration for thermally poled ethyl cellulose (EC) foil samples have been found to be characterized with two prominent peaks located around 70 and 100°C. Various characteristics of these thermograms along with currents of opposite polarity in short- and open-circuit, and the appearance of anomalous current in the low temperature region of short-circuit TSC thermograms have been considered to be indicative of intense charge trapping in surface and bulk traps and of the injection of carriers from electrodes under strong field at the near-surface region created by heterocharges
