Abstract
The non-linear characteristic of three phase induction motor has been an obstacle to design the speed motor control in the conventional method. This paper presents the application two method of neural network (NN) to produce control signal for three phase inverter, which drives three-phase induction motor. The first application is using radial basis function (RBF) as and the second is using B-spline neural network. As the result, for the higher value of convergence rate and proportional gain choice, these two methods give overshoot respond of speed. In average both system give settling time in 3 second, but during starting for various speed setting RBF has give the faster respond to reach there speed setting point than B-spline.
