Abstract :
We address the problem of designing jointly an optimum precoder and equalizer for a MIMO spatial multiplexing system using the MMSE criterion. Next, we compare the optimum power allocation policy and the achievable rate region for such a system to the well-known rate maximizing precoder and decoder design
