Abstract
A novel computational method, the “Zone method”, was first performed to transfer EEG time series to 0-1 series based on the results of physiology and many experiments. From the complexity of these 0-1 series, it was easy to express the cerebral activities clearly between two different states: eye-closing and eye-opening. With the “zone method”, a way was found to make nonlinear dynamic research on low-frequency-sampled EEG time series data gathered from a general medical EEG system
