Abstract

The purpose of this research is to show the people´s character of Japanese prefectures based on Social Network Service. By using data that shows personalities based on participation of communities, we analyze communities participants´ identities as the people´s characters of each Japanese prefectures. Data is birthplace communities of Japanese prefectures. We analyze with following steps, data cleaning, network analysis and clustering with Self-Organizing Maps. With these analysis, we find various characters of Japanese prefectures and clarify its properties.
