Abstract :
We propose a general method for simulating both envelope and phase of Nakagami fading channels, allowing for arbitrary values of fading parameter and anisotropic scenarios. The method complies with the newly-derived Nakagami phase- envelope distribution and Nakagami envelope autocorrelation. Relying on the proposed scheme, we also derive precise closed- form approximations to the envelope, phase, and quadrature component autocorrelations and to the quadrature component crosscorrelation.
