Summary form only given as follows. This paper advances a new viewpoint about the technology development chain. It suggests that effective technology development is a continuous cycle chain. The author suggests “the method, of time series division” personally. By this method, three types of breakage phenomena in the chain are analyzed in detail. The paper also advances strategies for restoring the breakage points in the chain. This paper analyzes how technology development succeeds
