Abstract
A Partial Curve Matching Method is described. First, it define curve rate between random pixels and use it as curve matching estimate standard. Then bring out a mid-curve´s marking method of homocentric circle. Build a curve with the circle and curve´s crossing point and match to the object curve. Apply this matching method in gesture recognition. The experiment proved that the gesture can also be recognized in the circumstance of lack some edge. The method can be used in gesture recognition of complex environment.
