Abstract
Thermally stimulated depolarization currents (TSD) and measurements of permittivity, loss factor, and DC conductivity on X-ray and gamma-irradiated polyethylene terephthalate (PETP) films were investigated. The commercial ESTROFOL PETP film, 125 μm thick, was investigated. Samples were X- and gamma-irradiated with three different doses in different gaseous environments (air and N2) and the electrical properties were measured as a function of time. Applying partial heating techniques, a distribution of activation energies of relaxation processes, being responsible for ∝ and ρ peaks, was found
