  • Abstract
    This paper presents an alternative method of solving the mathematical equation that represents a photovoltaic cell. The mathematical model used was obtained through literature review, keeping faithful to cell´s structure, i.e, avoiding simplifications. In solving this model, was used the bisection method, a robust iterative mathematical method that presents assurance solution. This method presented similar simulation results to those performed by other authors.
