Abstract
This paper introduces a new electro-optical method for recovering the interferometric signal from a white light interferometer (WLI). In this method the recover interferometer consists on a birefringent polarimetric interferometer, which is a Pockels cell especially designed to match the optical path difference generated at the sensor interferometer in a large number of wavelengths. Such method can provide a fast, precise and flexible way to interrogate any kind of WLI sensor. This gaper describes the principles of this method applied to an angular position sensor. The obtained results for this sensor are here presented and shown an accuracy of X%
