Abstract
This paper discusses the distinct aspects to be considered when designing the integration of alternative energy sources for application in distributed generation systems. It is included some different types of integration buses that can be used and some relevant details of this integration through a high frequency ac Microgrid. A coupled active filtering capability helps to improve the power quality. Simulated and practical results are presented to demonstrate the distribution system performance.
