Abstract
In this study, we construct a Reliving Video Experience system. This system gives users the same experience as the camera operator when they captured the video because users can superimpose video frames on an actual scene in the position where the video was captured. Users can then watch the video while moving in the same way as the camera operator. We implemented this method in an exhibition centre that relives the videos of old railways and we exhibited our system at THE RAILWAY MUSEUM for two weeks. Our analysis user questionnaires suggest that the proposed system and its interaction techniques are effective for reliving video experiences in the real world.
