Abstract
An efficient procedure based on the three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain approach is developed for the electromagnetic simulation of lightning interaction to structures of composite materials, realized by thin panels protected by conductive paint. The procedure is applied to the analysis of the electromagnetic field inside a cubic box with inner wiring, excited by a transient low current injection
