Abstract
There are a number of recent technical developments which will assist people with disabilities to find features within their environments. The devices include ones which give the users information on what is available in their vicinity, ones which help them to navigate to a particular facility and ones which assist the user to get help. This report sets out to list and describe a number of items of new technology and how they can be used to assist blind and partially sighted people.
