Abstract
The problem of controller design for a class of multiple-input-multiple- output(MIMO) networked control systems with limited communication resources is studied in this paper. Firstly, by using the notion of communication sequences and non-uniformly sampling methods, a extended MIMO model for NCSs with communication constraints is described to an integrated control and scheduling of discrete-time linear period system. Secondly, based on the new model, the state observer and optimal guaranteed controller in terms of linear matrix inequalities technology is designed. The proposed controller with a single structure which can overcome the original communication sequences cycle constraints, avoid multiple controllers periodically switching, and also schedule the sampling period conveniently. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed results is demonstrated by an illustrative example.
