  • Abstract
    Large number of data has been accumulated in the long-term survey and statistics on forest resource, hidden in which is some useful knowledge, so acquiring the ability to utilize the knowledge has become increasingly important. This paper applies the data mining technology in forest knowledge acquisition, and discusses the concept of forest resource data, information, knowledge, decision-making and their mutual relation in forest data mining. Additionally, by combining the data mining technology and the specific process of forest resource management, it also constructs the framework of forest data mining to analyze the general steps, which can provide technical support for the aid decision-making of forest resource management.
