Abstract
Cognitive radio technology is originated from the spectrum holes in TV-band. With the development of digital TV services, spectrum detection is more and more aiming at cognitive radio system which makes digital television system as the primary user. It has the characteristics of cyclic prefix in OFDM technology, so using correlation detection will greatly improve the performance of spectrum detection in system. But at the same time, it leads to the elevation of the complexity. And it can be easily influenced by the multipath. This paper presents a hybrid algorithm based on the correlation and differential detection, which greatly reduces the complexity the multipath effect of system. Through the system error detection probability and false alarm probability performance analysis, this method is proved to be of great feasibility.
