Abstract :
Current information technology makes the integration of hereto isolated functions for the support of public transport functions possible. Peek Traffic has developed the TravelTime system which fully integrates the public transport functionality in a scalable system. The system is based on public-transport specific standards such as Transmodel. A first system based on the new architecture has been operational in Copenhagen, the PrioBus systems, since the end of 1997.
