Abstract
One of the major issues about location-technique-based servers concerns how to make positioning more accurate. A general solution is to separately explore advanced algorithm on a particular location technique. However, this paper proposes a new concept called Multi-mode positioning which combines several location techniques. After a brief overview of existing technologies, the writer focuses on the function principles of multi-mode positioning system based on Client-Server architecture. The center of a triangle´s incircle is used for calculating to get a more accurate positioning result on the server sides. In addition, detailed analysis of relating experimentation conducted by the writers will show the current prospects and benefits of multi-mode location system.
