Abstract
India as a rapidly developing country needs huge number of efficient engineers to make it competitive with the most developed nations. There are many engineering colleges which are producing huge number of engineers every year but the quality is not maintained equally in comparison with the number. Quality of engineering education should not get affected with the scaling up process. This can be possible with only ICT (Information and Communication Technology) based education. Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies is the first university in India based on ICT education which brings a revolution in education system but at present appearing with many drawbacks for which the immediate changes are essential with. This research paper contains the detailed study on RGUKT education system, its drawbacks and suggestions for the changes before implementing this type of education system elsewhere in India.
