Abstract
This paper discusses a computer model of the innovation process, based on system dynamics. It models the relations between the structure and process of the innovation system and in this way contributes to the understanding of the dynamics of the process. The model can simulate and analyse various competitive strategies for their performance, making it a useful tool for the strategic management of technology
