Abstract
This paper presents a sensitivity relation for biquad filters. The sensitivity of the biquad magnitude frequency response is derived for low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and band-stop filter types in a general approach. A new identity is proposed to relate pole sensitivity and filter Q sensitivity. This confirms the biquad sensitivity is dependent upon the circuit topology as well as circuit component tolerances
