  • Abstract
This article tries to describe briefly three important aspects: the design, simulation and implementation of intelligent control using a fuzzy microcontroller that contains internally in its hardware an inference machine. The design and the simulation of control determined an optimum inference machine of nine member functions and ten rules of the type if-then, using tuning methods, genetic algorithms and neural networks. The inference machine was programmed in a fuzzy microcontroller for its application. The controlled variable was the speed of a d.c. motor of 1/8 H.P., running at a range of 100 to 1725 r.p.m. and achieving a precision of five mils at a very low cost
