Abstract :
An AV (audio-visual) TFT-LCD (thin film transistor liquid-crystal display) display system larger than 6 in has been successfully mass-produced for the first time. Specifically, an 8.6-in AV LCD panel and its driving system have been developed. This system is expected to pave the way for new AV applications because of its high-resolution. Its clarity and vividness surpass by far any conventional small AV panel.<>
