  • Abstract
    This paper describes a circuit to generate the color burst locked system clock for a digital video processor IC. A new PLL system including a voltage controlled crystal oscillator was designed. The approach chosen includes all functions on chip and is adjustment free. A capture range of +/- 9.6 kHz at 17.733 MHz center frequency was measured with first prototype ICs.
