  • Abstract
When analyzing various phenomena, actual numerical value acquired from measurement has to be utilized to obtain accurate analysis and judgment. However, gross error would occur when making measurements, which may affect the accuracy of the results. In order to achieve more precise analysis results, gross error must go through deeper detection. Nevertheless, the process of gross error detections used to be relatively complicated, as they depended mainly on the manual method that was to substitute the measured data into the existed equation to get the results. Therefore, aimed at reducing the complexity of gross error detection and improving the analysis efficiency, based on Matlab GUI, this paper will develop a computer toolbox with five kinds of evaluation criteria and utilize the actual case to check the accuracy of the toolbox. It not only can quickly detect the gross errors of the measurement data, but also can greatly decrease manual computation, which contribute highly to the improvement of the accuracy and efficiency of gross error detection.
