Abstract

This paper studies a widely used workflow management technology and lightweight J2EE platforms during collaborative software development, and the efficient and rapid development framework for collaborative systems based on both. This article firstly introduces the definition and composition of collaboration software, and explains the features and benefits of open-source JBPM workflow engine based on the definition of workflow and workflow management system. Then the paper discusses the construction of lightweight J2EE platform, and proposes a solution of collaboration software based on JBPM and J2EE framework. Finally the article analyzes the advantages of this solution from the features of the collaboration software, which can help enterprises improve efficiency and win competition.
