Abstract
A new transverse flux permanent magnet motor (TFPM) with combined stator and concentrating flux rotor configurations is introduced in this paper. Both the complexity of manufacture and the cost of machine are dramatically reduced by this unique design. Three-dimensional magnetic network as the derivation of equivalent magnetic computation model is used to get more accurate results. The impacts of main parameters to power factor and force density are also discussed
