Abstract :
Watermarking can be considered as a method to authenticate data by hiding a piece of information within it. Some techniques to watermark 3D object are presented. We propose a technique that uses digital holography to hide a 3D object stored in the form of a digital hologram within another 3D object. The proposed technique generates the digital hologram of both the hidden 3D object and the host 3D object optically using phase shift interferometery. The watermarked hologram is double phase encoded using a different set of codes. The double phase encoding process provides a higher level of security and will guaranty the whiteness of the transmitted hologram. The watermarked hologram is robust to pixels occlusion in terms of reconstructing different poses of the 3D object due to the whiteness of the final transmitted data.
