Abstract
This paper introduces a new method of applying the image steganography concept for image encryption. Using the PLIP (Parameterized Logarithmic Image Processing) addition to embed the scrambled original image into a selected cover image, the new algorithm generates an encrypted image. Computer simulation and security analysis are given to show that the algorithm has a very large key space and can withstand several common attacks.
