Abstract :
Brushless DC motor is currently well known and widely used in industry. However, electrical drives are usually assembled using several separate components like motor, control and power system. In contrary to this approach, the article describes developed compact electrical drive comprising all of them in one casing. Moreover, each part is designed and optimized for this application. It is intended to offer compact electronically commutated drive as a rival to common DC motor and therefore the low manufacturing expenses are required. Presented compact BLDC drive has been developed in cooperation with motor producer.
