Abstract :
The NOAA-18 satellite carries two microwave radiometers, the Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit-A and the Microwave Humidity Sounder. After its launch in May 2005, a systematic post-launch calibration and validation of the instrumental performances were conducted with on-orbit data. A brief report of the initial assessment of the two instruments´ performances is presented
