Abstract :
A number of enclosed stripline fed cavity-backed slot radiators were constructed and their operating characteristics studied. Five of the models had various strip offsets, X2, while the other three models incorporated changes of stripline characteristic impedance. This work has shown that it is possible to match the impedance of the feedline to the impedance of the slot radiator by an optimum choice of either strip offset or strip width. The model is best applied to models with relatively wide strip widths
