Abstract :
The problem of parametrizing stable nonlinear feedback systems containing a possibly unstable nonlinear plant is considered. A two-step scheme based on stabilization of the unstable plant followed by parametrization for the stabilized plant is suggested. The use of state feedback as a precompensator is also suggested, and a technique for maintaining the internal stability of the overall configuration is developed
