Abstract :
Toward self-organization of 3-D optical circuits for chip-scale optical interconnects, growth of self-aligned parallel waveguides of Self-Organized Lightwave Network (SOLNET) is simulated by the FDTD method. SOLNET growth is also demonstrated experimentally using luminescent targets.
