Abstract
In this paper, a control strategy of scalar modulation with three intervals and vector control technique for matrix converter fed induction motor drive system is proposed. By applying this control strategy, we are able to combine the advantages of matrix converter and the advantages of the vector control. Simulation results are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
